ART/CRAFT HIKES Hike to beautiful locations with our artists and create your own art/crafts to take home with you. A trip to the mountains to collect seeds for a necklace, or a calabash for bowls. The beach has natural objects that wash up and materials that can be recycled as well such as highly sought after sea glass. These hikes combine health, arts and the environment..
PHOTOGRAPHY HIKES Ever wanted to understand why some photos look better than others? Hike with us while learning about composition and natural light, and how crucial they are to great photos. Put these skills into practice during the hike. We will also run through those settings on your camera that may confuse you, allowing you to control the camera instead of the camera controlling you. Return from your Portland visit with stunning photographs to share.
JAMAICAN HISTORY HIKES Hike with a guide to places of historical importance in the hills of Portland. Maroon Town, Nanny Falls, Folly Ruins, and more.

SWIMMING would you like to learn to swim? Monique deLaTour is an American Red Cross certified WSI (Water Safety Instructor), and can teach you how to swim in one of the calm and shallow beaches of Portland (Winifred, Frenchman's Cove, San San).
SNORKELING and FISHING Have you ever wanted to snorkel in Jamaica with the local fishermen? Not in a tourist environment, but with people who do this for a living? We connect you with local fishermen, where they use their exceptional skills to show tourists the beauty of marine life in Portland. Jamaica is tackling the issue of overfishing and depletion of marine life with fish sanctuaries, and policing the waters. Instead of killing the fish to make money, the fishermen we know can take you snorkeling to see the tropical ocean environment, and supplement their income this way. Everyone is a winner here. The fishermen, the tourists, and marine life. BYO snorkeling equipment please. Must be able to swim confidently.
SURFING Travel to some of the well known surfing locations in Portland, Boston Beach and Long Bay. We connect you with the local surfers if you would like a lesson or two, or just want to rent a board. We have the links.
CAMPING For those who want a true 100% nature experience in Jamaica, we have guides who will camp with you and show you the ropes in the lush tropical environment. We partner with farmers who allow you to camp on their land in exchange for a small fee and some assistance with farming. Please contact us ahead of time if you are planning on camping with us. We have friends and locations all over Portland. See our WILD HARVEST page for more info on the farmers.
DANCEHALL / MUSIC Have you heard about the dancehall sessions that are held all over Jamaica? The famous sound systems like Stone Love? If you have always wanted to attend a dance, or check out a local club, in town or a rural location, we have people who can pick you up, accompany you till the early hours, and get you home safely.
